La Première Guerre mondiale a profondément marqué l’identité collective et la mémoire des Serbes. Les soldats serbes ont en effet laissé leurs dépouilles dans un grand nombre de cimetières militaires en Grèce. Cet article se penche sur les deux plus grands, devenus au fil du temps de véritables lieux de pèlerinage : celui de Zeitenlick, à Thessalonique, et le Tombeau bleu, à savoir l’ossuaire de l’îlot de Vido (tout près de Corfou) et les eaux de la mer Ionienne qui l’entourent. Nous analysons les divers facteurs socio-politiques qui, au cours des cent dernières années, ont modifié l’appréhension de la Grande Guerre et de ces cimetières.
