This work focuses on teacher training for inclusive education, with the aim of understanding the challenges and perspectives in this area. Aiming to investigate how educational institutions have adapted to prepare educators to work efficiently in diverse educational environments, identifying innovative practices that promote the inclusion of all students, regardless of their individual differences. A bibliographic review was used to base the study on national legislation that supports inclusive education. Data on the conception of disability over time and the impact of government policies, such as Decree No. 10,502, which may affect inclusive education, were also analyzed.
