The purpose of this article is to reflect, from a teaching experience, on literary textual production in the early years of elementary school. It is assumed that this will be more viable if such experiences occur in the training of teachers who will work in this stage of education. Thus, based on diary notes, photos and excerpts from conversations, we intend to analyze the reception and success of an activity in the Portuguese Language Teaching discipline, in the Pedagogy course at the Federal University of Ceará, involving the production of micro stories and support for this genre.
