Moebius syndrome is a low-prevalence congenital disease characterized by facial paralysis due to involvement of cranial nerves VIand VII. This integrative review of theliteratureaimsto identifythe main orofacial, neurological and functional characteristics of Moebius syndrome, speech difficulties and the benefits that post-surgical speech therapy intervention may have on patients. Eleven studies were included. In 90% of them, various orofacial affections were observed that affect the articulation, feeding and facial expressiveness.
