This article presents managerial skills as an integral tool for organizational development. It also analyzes how managers need to constantly adapt to the transformations that occur in the market, technology, and competition while leading and motivating their teams to succeed, to provide a more solid understanding of managerial capabilities and how to foster their development. For the type of research used, it was described through a process of literature review, which allowed for the provision of relevant information for the research, contributions from knowledgeable individuals on the subject, and references to management skills.
