A new check list of weevils occurring in The Netherlands and adjacent regions is presented. Since the previous list of Brakman (1966) many species were added to the Dutch fauna, some subspecies were raised to specific status and a number of nomenclatorial changes took place. In the present list additions to the Dutch fauna since Brakman (1966) are indicated and nomenclature is updated
