Detailed indicator counts in the literature on areas south and east of the Baltic were revaluated on the basis of the main ice movement directions of the last glacial in Fennoscandia. This revaluation resulted in a distribution pattern of indicators which partially coincides with the general trends of ice movement. This holds for both the Weichselian and the Saalian. The other part of the indicator distribution is of Baltic origin. The interrelationship found between flowline and distribution pattern was further analysed and elaborated, which led to a reconstruction of the directions of ice movement and outline forms of the Scandinavian ice sheets.
