There has been little research on children living with disabilities that use school boards’ accessible bus services, and no attention has been paid to their differences in excess travel compared to their non-disabled peers. This thesis explores the literature on childhood disability and school travel in order to identify current knowledge gaps and provide potential future research recommendations.
