This qualitative research project addresses inclusion in the classroom for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. It also addresses the question on how a sample of elementary school teachers work towards preventing students with ASD from being bullied, and build acceptance and understanding within their classroom and school community. Research describes the various characteristics of the developmental disorder and how it can affect students within a social context.
