Background: Social support networks facilitated by technologies may be one way of addressing young people with physical disabilities' low physical activity levels. Objective: To explore the perceived benefits and impact of social networks on physical activity in young people with physical disabilities, and to identify design considerations when creating social technologies to support physical activity. Method: A 2-stage, iterative design included individual interviews and group design workshops with eleven young people aged 12 to 18 with physical disabilities.
