With the implementation of full day kindergarten in Ontario, an opportunity to explore or to check in on how this implementation is affecting Ontario’s teachers and students arises. Will the implementation of full day kindergarten in Ontario help our students acquire language so that they can solidify the foundations for language development throughout elementary school and beyond? Or are there other challenges that have emerged with the implementation of FDK? The findings of this research conclude that FDK teachers in the community researched in this paper are facing many challenges when it comes to the implementation of the program
