An experiment was carried with the objective to test coconut fiber in combination with six organic materials and a commercial growing medium as substrates for the production of seedlings of bell pepper ( Capsicum annuum L.). The experiment was conducted in a completely random design, with eight treatments and three replications, being the sampling unit four plants and treatments: coconut fiber mixed (1:1) with goat manure (EcFc), coffee pulp (PcFc) sugarcane bagasse (BcFc), filter press mud of sugarcane (CcFc), vermicompost (LbFc), river peat (TrFc), Promix® (PrFc) and Promix® (Pr).
