Parkinson’s disease (PD) and dystonia are movement disorders related to dysfunctions of basal ganglia (BG). Deep brain stimulation (DBS) of the subthalamic nucleus (STN) and internal globus pallidus (GPi) are treatments for PD and dystonia.
