This talk was likely given at the Community of Celebration conference at Woodland Park, CO from June 23-26, 1980. This was a theological conference. Nouwen spoke on the connection between theology and prayer, the importance of prayer, and the importance of listening. He also spoke about how he has enjoyed being a part of a community while being at the conference, and says "I have never lived in a community or been part of one." He asked the listeners to tell him what they "most want this week to be," as he wants to help them be successful. He also begins with a discussion on the origins of the word theology, "theology's deepest meaning is prayer," and discusses the reason that he likes that they have called their conference a theological conference, because of theology's connection to prayer
