Among them, Asian immigrants from China and Japan have especially experienced many difficulties in the early period. However, they overcame those obstacles and are now spend their lives in the new land. How Chinese and Japanese minorities created their lives from the early period to present interests me because I am also a member of a minority, as a Korean resident in Japan. Also, I would like to examine how the policy of multiculturalism has contributed to the lives of those minorities in Canada.
