Out of fifty-six isolates screened three bacterial strains enriched with TNT either as sole source of nitrogen (for Salmonella typhimurium , Klebsiella pneumoniae ) or along with co-substrate (for Acinetobacter baumannii ), have been carried out nitro group reduction under aerobic conditions.
