In order to studying the growth and development of sweet pepper seedlings, in a lapse of thirty five days, starting from the sowing; healthy seeds were selected and sowed in a mixture of sand, soil and organic matter. The morphological evaluations and those of growth were carried out along twenty-nine successive samplings, starting from the germination. The emergence of the hypocotyl was presented sixth days after the germination. The verticality of the hypocotyl and the horizontality of the first pair of leaves happened the eighth day. Eleven days after the sowing and five days of germination, laterals roots or those of first order were observed
