Palmer amaranth (Amaranthus palmeri S. Watson) is the most problematic weed species in the US agriculture. A Palmer amaranth biotype multiple resistant to atrazine and 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD) inhibitors was reported in a seed corn production field in Nebraska, USA.
