Notes on Hydnums—II

This paper deals with a number of Hydnums, some of which seem not to have been reexamined since their publication. In a few cases the species appear to be Polypores, in others it is for various reasons impossible or inexpedient to indicate the generic relationship. Several names are reduced to synonymy. The following recombinations are proposed: Deflexula sprucei (Mont.), Gloiodon nigrescens (Petch), Gyrodontium boveanum (Mont, apud Decaisne), G. versicolor (Berk. & Br.), Sarcodon carbonarius (G. H.
