This article investigates the political character of the artistic practices developed by people I define as sexual and gender dissidents in the city of Cali, Colombia, in the decade from 2010 to 2020. Such practices, which are built from the formation of communities and networks, as well as intense forms of collective and transdisciplinary work, play a dual role: by introducing a critique of the processes of racialization, normalization of the body and heteronormativity that permeate our society; and challenging existing models when inhabiting artistic scenarios and even the city itself.
