G.M. Suvires - Paleosuperfícies e evolução do relevo nas zonas cratônicas das Sierras Pampeanas Oeste (Provincia de San Juan, Argentina). Cinco níveis de paleosuperfícies foram determinados, os quais encontram-se situados a 3000, 2500-2400, 1900, 1500-1400 e entre 1200-1000 metros a.n.m. e dispostos de modo escalonado e aproximadamente concêntrico na porção central da Sierra de Pie de Palo. Estas superficies diminuem em idade a medida que decrescem em altitude, coexistindo os relevos reliquiares e exumados. Os megasistemas de falha de Valle Fértil (NNO), de Tulum (NNE) e de Salinas Grandes (ENE) desempenham um papel importante na evolução deste relevo pampeano.
