Musicians are part of a professional category which exposes its members to activities of musculoskeletals risks. The objective this study was to investigate the musculoskeletal overuse in 22 orchestral musicians and the socio-demographic, health and work factors associated their practices. For the evaluation was used the clinical classification of Fry (1986) that describes the overuse in five degrees. Besides, a questionnaire multidimensional was applied with aspects socio-demographic, health and work and observations of the practices were accomplished.
