Análise sociojurídica do papel dos CRAMs na proteção da mulher vítima de violência:: uma política pública necessária

The purpose of this essay is a socio-legal analysis of the role of the Reference Centers for Women's Care (CRAMs) in protecting women who are victims of violence. To this end, it uses the experience of the second author with the Network for Assistance and Confrontation with Women in Situations of Domestic and Family Violence, in Campina Grande. It proposes a look at the historical issue of gender violence, seeking its recognition as a social wound that needs to be faced in the search to safeguard women's rights. To this end, the authors sought, in addition to bibliographical research in relation to the issue of violence against women, to analytically discuss the experiences collected at the CRAM in Campina Grande, in light of the evident need to give effectiveness to the legal precepts involved, as well as the principle constitutional principle of the dignity of the human person, for women.O presente ensaio tem por objeto uma análise sociojurídica a respeito do papel dos Centros de Referência de Atendimento à Mulher (CRAMs) na proteção da mulher vítima de violência. Para tal, serve-se da experiência da segunda autora junto à Rede de Atendimento e Enfrentamento às Mulheres em Situação de Violência Doméstica e Familiar, em Campina Grande. Propõe um olhar sobre a questão histórica da violência de gênero buscando seu reconhecimento enquanto chaga social que carece ser enfrentada na busca da salvaguarda de direitos das mulheres. Para tal, as autoras buscaram, além da pesquisa bibliográfica em relação à questão da violência contra mulheres, discorrer analiticamente acerca das experiências coletadas junto ao CRAM de Campina Grande, à luz da evidente necessidade de conferir eficácia aos preceitos legais envolvidos, bem como do princípio constitucional da dignidade da pessoa humana, para mulheres
