Aging estimation of a corpse is an important clue for personal identification. Conventional qualitative age estimation methods based on the naked eye observation of hard tissues are susceptible to different evaluators. Recently, methods of age estimation using PMCT have also been investigated. Our objective was to obtain a quantitative age estimation method that is less affected by the experience and knowledge of the evaluator.
