Actividades para contribuir al fortalecimiento de la educación ambiental desde los turnos de reflexión y debate (Original)

Environmental Education is a dimension within the teaching-learning process of schools in Cuba. It is a necessity and that is why it constitutes a prioritized task of the Ministry of Education.  This research was carried out at the Segundo Díaz Prado Pre-University Institute of the Municipality of San Nicolás de Bari. It was an objective a proposal of activities to contribute to the strengthening of environmental education in eleventh grade students from non-consequential actions of the same in daily situations, by not contributing to the care of green areas, cleaning the premises of the center, mistreatment of the material base of study, ignorance of environmental problems.  For the fulfillment of this purpose, theoretical methods such as analysis and synthesis, induction-deduction and documentary analysis were used. Empirical methods such as observation and survey and mathematical-statistical methods such as percentage analysis.  In this way, the tasks related to the theoretical support, the assessment of the instruments applied in the diagnosis and the development of the activities, which have the potential to strengthen environmental education and provoke positive changes in the behavior of students towards the environment that were resolved.  Care and preservation of the environment in its surroundings and in general.La Educación Ambiental es una dimensión dentro del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la escuela en Cuba, es una necesidad y por eso constituye una tarea priorizada del Ministerio de Educación. La presente investigación se realizó en el Instituto Preuniversitario Segundo Díaz Prado del Municipio de San Nicolás de Bari, tiene como objetivo una propuesta de actividades para contribuir al fortalecimiento de la educación ambiental en los estudiantes de onceno grado a partir de acciones no consecuente de los mismos en situaciones cotidianas, al no contribuir con el cuidado de las áreas verdes, la limpieza de los locales del centro, el maltrato a la base material de estudio, desconocimiento de problemas ambientales. Para el cumplimiento de ese propósito se emplearon métodos teóricos como el análisis y síntesis, inducción-deducción y análisis documental; métodos empíricos como la observación y la encuesta y métodos matemático- estadísticos como el análisis porcentual. De esa manera fueron resueltos las tareas referentes a los sustentos teóricos, la valoración de los instrumentos aplicados en el diagnóstico y la elaboración de las actividades, las que tiene potencialidades para fortalecer la educación ambiental y provocar cambios positivos en la conducta de los estudiantes hacia el cuidado y preservación del medio ambiente en su entorno y de forma general
