Balance energético de la preparación del suelo para el cultivo de la caña de azúcar (Saccharum officinarum l.) (Original)

The work was carried out in the Base Business Unit (UEB) Territorial Research Station of Sugar Cane (ETICA) South East, Los Coquitos, Palma Soriano, province of Santiago de Cuba, during the month of May, July 2018. It was carried out with the objective of evaluating the energy balance of soil preparation for the cultivation of sugar cane, taking into account the consumption of direct and indirect use energy and the input energy of the process (Input). Having as a result a consumption of energy of direct use of 3 176.8 MJ·ha-1, untangling the work of breaking with greater consumption with respect to the other activities carried out (crossing, first and second pass of disc harrow). The energy associated with the use of the machinery was 525.6 MJ·ha-1, where the values ​​of labor productivity influenced the breaking work with the highest energy consumption. The total input energy (Input) was 3702.4 MJ·ha-1.   El trabajo se realizó en la Unidad Empresarial de Base (UEB) Estación Territorial de Investigación de la Caña de Azúcar (ETICA) Oriente Sur, Los Coquitos, Palma Soriano, provincia de Santiago de Cuba, durante el mes de mayo julio del año 2018. El mismo se llevó a cabo con objetivo de evaluar el balance energético de la preparación del suelo para el cultivo de la caña de azúcar, teniendo en cuenta el consumo de energía de uso directo e indirecta y la energía de entrada del proceso (Input). Teniendo como resultados un consumo de energía de uso directo de 3 176,8 MJ ha-1, desatancándose la labor de rotura con mayor consumo respecto a las demás actividades realizadas (cruce, primera y segundo pase de grada de discos). La energía asociada al uso de la maquinaria fue de 525,6 MJ·ha-1, donde los valores de la productividad de trabajo influyeron manteniéndose la labor de rotura con el mayor consumo de energía.
