Fosfomycin (FOS) has been recently reintroduced into clinical practice, but its effectiveness against multidrug-resistant (MDR) Enterobacterales is reduced due to the emergence of FOS resistance. The copresence of carbapenemases and FOS resistance could drastically limit antibiotic treatment.
