The relationship between the Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) with the sociodemographic and clinical factors of patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (DM2) was identified. Correlational descriptive study. Sample of 91 participants. A personal/clinical data card was used, collected by nurses who followed national and international recommendations for the evaluation of clinical variables. The ABI was correlated with age, diastolic and systolic blood pressure. There was a correlation between other clinical and sociodemographic variables.
