Halal Traceability Systems In The Supply Chain For The Indonesia Cosmetics Industry

<p>Companies are now taking into account the compliance of their products due to the increased awareness of halal cosmetics. Halal compliance applies to both finished goods and all processes throughout the supply chain. A traceability mechanism must be in place to guarantee halal compliance throughout supply chains. All parties involved, including consumers, can learn about the items' origins, manufacturing procedures, and logistics operations thanks to traceability. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that determine the fundamental requirements of halal traceability systems in the cosmetics industry's supply chain, as well as how these systems improve transparency and confidence within the industry's supply chain.</p> <p>This project aims to provide a thorough framework for a traceability system in halal cosmetics specifically customized to the requirements of the Indonesian cosmetics sector. To address the crucial needs of halal traceability systems in the cosmetics supply chain, the Framework will be developed based on an exploration of stakeholder traceability, an analysis of identified supply chain halal traceability practices, and alignment with internationally recognized standards like ISO Halal Cosmetics, Indonesia Halal Standard HAS 23000-1, and Indonesia Cosmetics Standard CPKB.</p> <p>The eventual result of this project will be a clear and helpful framework for a traceability system in the Indonesian halal cosmetics sector. This approach is designed to improve transparency and trust within the industry's supply chain by guaranteeing that halal compliance is maintained throughout the production and distribution stages.</p&gt
