The increasing age decreases sensation of taste, smell vision, hearing, mental ability, organic functions, cardio respiratory endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, balance and reaction time etc. However, there is no fitness programme prepared by the Government of India for the elderly people. Many literature revel that, older adults have a highest rate of chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis and arthritis. Muscles and bones are found weaker in older adults, these changes in the muscles, joints, and bones effect on accurate movement and create difficulties in maintaining dynamic and static balance, due to this, senior citizens feel uncertain future of the health and fitness...
