Neotrombicula vulgaris (Schluger, 1955) Trombicula vulgaris Schluger, 1955: 118. Records in Baltic States: Lithuania (current study). Hosts: C. glareolus (LT). European distribution: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Ukraine (Daniel et al. 1995; Kudryashova 1998; Stekolnikov 1999; Imaz et al. 2006; Moniuszko & Mąkol 2014; Mitková et al. 2015; Stålstedt et al. 2019; Haarder & Mąkol 2022) Notes: The species N. vulgaris is recorded in Baltic States (Lithuania) for the first time.
