The desire to have long to super-long bridges has immensely increased with the development of the infrastructure during the past decades. Cable-supported bridges, comprising Cable Stayed and Suspension Bridges, generally constitute long to super-long-span bridges. In the current global competitive scenario, the need and the importance of different materials and techniques are incorporated for an enhanced cost-to-utility pointer.
