The issue of women's role in security and defense is a topic that has gained increased prominence on the international agenda. This dynamic is the result of some realities generated by the evolution of the military construct, the diversification of the tasks and missions of the army, the resettlement of the strategic environment, as well as the changes in the typology of threats and challenges to security.
