A large-scale sediment disater and the flood harm occurred around Yamaguchi Prefecture because of a regional heavey rain on July 21, 2009. Especially, it became the biggest damage in Hofu City. In the present study, the questionnarire survey was done to the resident in the hearing investigation to administrative bodies such as Yamaguchi Prefectureal Governments and Hofu City Office and Nami districts, and the correspondence at the disaster and problems of measures to deal with natural calamities were investigated.
