The yellowtail culture in Korea started in early 1980 and recently culture of fish, sea bass, rock fish, red sea bream, puffer fish and other fishes have been developed. However, like any other industries without an exception, Korean fish culture also began with the trial and error method during its development. Korean finfish culture is faced with various problems such as fishing ground, information on marketing, capital, and techniques. The first reason is why the water temperature in most of the areas used for the fish culture is lower than that in Japan. Hence, it is difficult to culture them in winters as compared to Japan.
