This paper concerns with the active vibration control for a five story building model using by the Fuzzy controller. The Fuzzy controller can be easilly set up by the Fuzzy board on the markeL The structural model is controlled by the active mass damper which is driven by the DC servomotor. Numerical simulations and experimental tests are performed for the building model subject with impulse excitations and earthquake excitations. The results are shown that the Fuzzy controller used in the study is effective to reduce the vibration of structure with the frequency up to nearly 5Hz
