The Role of Stakeholders in Management of Outdoor Experience-type Recreational Programs

The purpose of this research is to identify the role of stakeholders in management of Gamadasu-Net, one of the outdoor experience-type recreational programs governing organization. The main findings are as follows. 1) Contents of management activities are different for different stakeholders depending on characteristics of each stakeholder. 2) Non Profit Organization (NPO) plays a central role in planning and managing outdoor experience-type recreational programs. 3) The stakeholder leading to the management of outdoor experience-type recreational programs is different according to the governing organization’s stage of development. Based on these findings, we propose a list of considerations for reviewing the management of outdoor experience-type recreational programs
