International audience◤ Abstract:The survey dig of the two adjoining plots within the urban area of Ancient Annecy was the occasion to refresh our knowledge on the "Western necropolis" of the vicus of Boutae. The chronotypology and the artifacts, certified by the radiocarbon dating, confirmed that the necropolis was being used from the middle of the fifth century to the end of the seventh century AD. On the 250 graves that were searched 21 stood out due to the presence of artifacts – oftentimes remarkable in quality – worn or placed in the tomb.
