Nishi Otani Entsu-kyo Bridge

西大谷円通橋を皎月池南縁より北に望む｡円通橋は安政3年(1865)に築造された石橋である｡その形より眼鏡橋と称され､幕末から明治にかけて紅白の蓮が眺められる景勝地であった｡橋向こうには茶店が建つ｡彩色不良｡Enzu-kyo Bridge at Nishi Otani Temple, looking north from the southern edge of Kogetsu Pond. Made of stone, the bridge was built in 1865. Called "Spectacles Bridge" because of its shape, the bridge bustled with people who came here to view the red and white lotus flowers from the end of the Edo to the Meiji Period. There is a tea house on the other side of the bridge. The quality of the photo tinting is poor
