富士市柏原新田付近の浮島沼(沼川の上流)から北方の山頂に雪の積もった富士山を遠望したもの。沼の水は沼川を通り、田子ノ浦に注ぐ。浮島沼の周辺は浮島ケ原の湿地帯で、川舟で移動するため、水路網が発達していた。帆をあげた川舟には男性2人が乗り、水面には逆さ富士が映る。Northern view of the snow-capped peak of Mt.
