Abstract Somatic cells can be reprogrammed into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) through epigenetic manipulation. While the essential role of miRNA in reprogramming and maintaining pluripotency is well studied, little is known about the functions of miRNA from exosomes in this context.
