目録番号3307(布引雌滝)と同じ頃の布引雌滝。明治初期から中期にかけての撮影。江戸時代の代表的な地誌『摂津名所図会(せっつめいしょずえ)』 (寛政8年(1796) 刊) で「高さ十八丈 (約55m)、 (雄滝と) 同じく布を曳 (ひ) くに異ならず。」と紹介された当時の面影が残る。Medaki waterfall at Nunobiki Falls, taken around the same time as photograph #3307 (Medaki Waterfall of Nunobiki) in the first half of the Meiji Period. This photograph exudes the atmosphere described in the 1796 book Setsumeishozue (Places of Interest in Settsu): "The height of the waterfall is about 55 meters, and like Odaki, it evokes the image of pulling cloth.
