Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi faktor risiko usahatani bawang putih, menganalisis persepsi petani terhadap tingkat kekritisan faktor risiko, merumuskan strategi manajemen risikonya, serta menganalisis pengaruh penyuluhan dan faktor lainnya terhadap adopsi Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) sebagai strategi mengurangi risiko produksi. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Temanggung dengan mewawancarai 25 tokoh kunci yang dipilih secara purposive dan 234 petani bawang putih yang dipilih dengan metode simple random sampling.
