Optimizing Educational Outcomes: A Comprehensive Study on the Modularization of Course Offering in a Digital Innovation School

We are in an era of truly rapid digital transformation. Training institutions are under increasing pressure to adapt their training programs to market demands. This thesis, from the master's program in Education Entrepreneurship seeks to explore how to introduce scalability within a training school such as Talent Garden Innovation School, specifically with a focus on the master's program in Digital Marketing delivered by it. The author of this thesis was actively involved in the project to introduce modular and scalable training, given the specific request of management to streamline the organization, reduce costs through the adoption of agile mode processes and the introduction of new training technologies. The theoretical background of this research draws from various areas of knowledge, including learning theory, innovation management, and digital education. The reviewed literature has provided a solid theoretical foundation for understanding key concepts such as student-centered learning, the role of technology in education, and agile methodologies. The purpose of this study is to provide solid and useful tips to all educators who want to embark on a path of digital transformation of their business school, introducing important training concepts such as scalability and modularization and with all the benefits that come with it. In this context, to assess the effectiveness of the innovations introduced, a series of interviews were conducted principally with students, but also with other stakeholders, including learning manager teams, faculty members, and company managers. The interviewees were selected based on their central roles and involvement in the implementation of the digital learning ecosystem. They were key stakeholders such as learning managers, IT professionals, and faculty members. The interviews were conducted with participants from various master programs, representing a diverse range of disciplines and expertise. The selection of interviewees aimed to gather insights from individuals directly engaged in the development and use of the learning management system. The surveys were distributed electronically to the participants, reaching a total of circa 100 respondents. Out of the distributed surveys, 62 responses were received. In addition, 10 interviews were conducted with selected stakeholders involved in the implementation process. … In addition, surveys were distributed so that students' experiences within the learning school could be better understood holistically. … The results showed a significant improvement in the learning experience and platform usability after the implementation of the new LMS and agile methodologies. The students reported higher levels of learning and satisfaction, with a notable increase in the Net Promoter Score. The findings support the effectiveness of a student-centered approach, agile development, and the importance of stakeholder collaboration. As for future research, potential avenues include exploring the long-term impact of the implemented changes on student outcomes and performance, investigating the scalability and applicability of the approach to other educational institutions, and conducting comparative studies between different LMS implementation strategies.
