Introduction. Strokes are one of the main problems of modern medicine. In Poland, it reaches about 70,000 annually. strokes are one of the most common causes of disability and the second in terms of death rates. During the first month of the episode, every sixth patient dies, while the rest of the group are people with a deficit in independence requiring the support of third parties. The aim. The aim of the study was to assess the quality of life of patients after a stroke. Materials and methods. The study included a group of 100 patients after a stroke incident.
