The main thesis of this article is that Husserl’s project of transcendental phenomenology remains in a close connection with axiological and ethical motivation of the German thinker philosophizing. This relation is reflected in a specific ethos of Husserl’s philosophy which can be described as axiological. It is the ethical and practical motivation which affects the specificity of the phenomenological way of philosophizing and the change in the attitude that Husserl described as the phenomenological reduction.
