INSTYTUCJONALNE UWARUNKOWANIA ROZWOJU RYNKU KAPITAŁOWEGO W POLSCE

The capital market fulfils certain functions in the economy. It is widely thought that the capital market is its pillar. This statement poses a challenge to definition of the state and the circumstances of its development. Present tendencies at the developed capital markets i.e. globalisation, liberalisation, competition, mergers, alliances cause that one should outline the ways of the development of Polish investment market. The extensiveness of the subject causes that the author of the paper decided to focus the analytical attention on the institutional conditions of the stock-exchange share market. Further parts of the article define the term of the institutionalism and the essence of the institution. The separation of the components of the given definition allowed for the analysis of the existing state and of the conditions of the development of the capital market in the light of legal regulations. Then the strategy of the Warsaw Stock Exchange was described, embedded in its progress determinants. The paper closes with the section concerning the supply – demand conditions of the development of the stock exchange market.Rynek kapitałowy spełnia istotne funkcje w gospodarce. Współczesną tendencją charakteryzującą rozwinięte rynki inwestycyjne jest ich działanie w warunkach globalizacji, liberalizacji, deregulacji oraz łączeń kapitałowych. Autorka opracowania podjęła w nim zagadnienie instytucjonalnych uwarunkowań rozwoju polskiego giełdowego rynku akcji. W pierwszej części artykułu określono pojęcie instytucji. Wyodrębnienie elementów składowych jej definicji pozwoliło zainicjować rozważania od analizy uwarunkowań prawnych rozwoju polskiego rynku kapitałowego. Następnie zwrócono uwagę badawczą na znaczenie GPW w Warszawie dla gospodarki kraju oraz możliwą strategię jej rozwoju. Opracowanie kończy fragment dotyczący uwarunkowań popytowo-podażowych rozwoju giełdowego rynku akcji
