This paper discusses the problem of Work - Life Balance (WLB). WLB can be an instrument of Corporate Social Responsibility. CSR programmes aimed at employees are one of the main elements of human resource management in enterprises. It is said that WLB is the retention of harmony between private and professional life. This idea is positive for employees, companies and the whole society. What is more, WLB is the challenge for enterprises which use CSR prectices. The first part of the article includes a definition and chosen elements of WLB whereas the last part presents good practices of this idea in companies.
