This study presents an overview on the differences in reading comprehension between boys and girls and explores strategies that can be employed to improve reading comprehension for both genders. The methodology employed in this overview follows the steps outlined by Eriksson Barajas etal. (2013). The initial step involved identifying the research area and defining search terms.
