The following report contains a summary of the results of a survey of visitors' attitudes to recreation resources of the Mackenzie Basin. The study was undertaken for the reason that while the resources of the Mackenzie Basin are primarily used for recreation, little data has been collected on these recreational resources. The study does not attempt to analyse the recreation activities in the Mackenzie Basin. Instead, it attempts to discover how the visitors to the Mackenzie Basin perceive the environment. That is, it attempts to establish the visitors' attitudes to the recreational resources of the Mackenzie Basin.
